Library News
Storytime
Weekly storytime at NPPL is every Wednesday, from 10:15-10:45a.m. in the Children’s Section of the library. Volunteer Michelle Stansell will be reading books and setting up craft activities related to this month’s Halloween theme. Everyone is welcome.
Books on Display
Just to the left of our library’s front entrance are the display shelves, with various items set out from easy browsing and reading suggestions. This month we have books displayed about the women, and others, who helped explore the West, as well as some of our nicest non-fiction picture books of varying interest. These materials are available for check out.
Searching on WCCLS.org
All of our books can now be found at the WCCLS website, wccls.org, by clicking on “Library Catalog” under the “Lending Library” menu on the site’s home page. After typing in the information for your search (title, author’s name, subject or keyword), the search can be narrowed by using the pull-down menu to the right of the “Search by” option. Clicking the “Go” button will bring up your search’s results. To view which library an item is at, click on the blue “Availability” link under your desired item’s information. Holds can be placed on almost any of the WCCLS materials by clicking on the blue “Place Request” link. Patrons will need their library card number and password.
You can also use the search box on the right side of this page to search for library items.
