Library Board


The North Plains Library Board is an all-volunteer board which represents the citizens of North Plains and are appointed by the North Plains City Council upon recommendation by the Library Director and the current members of the North Plains Library Board. Terms of office are staggered to provide continuity of service. Members are chosen to represent residents both within and without the North Plains city limits.

The Library Board is made up of five members who meet regularly in partnership with the Library Director, evaluating Library services and community needs, advising on Library policies, and setting goals to be implemented by the Director and staff.
