Internet Databases
The libraries in Washington County subscribe to a dynamic collection of online resources for your use. They are accessible via the Internet with your library card number.

Included are:

  • Indexes to millions of newspaper and magazine articles, including many with full text and/or images
  • Subject-specific resources (genealogy, health, biography, science, literature and more)
  • Dictionaries and encyclopedias
  • Business and residential directories

  • Downloadable books and videos
  • Resources for kids
  • Electronic reference books, and more!



    • To begin your search online, go to www.wccls.org and click on “Online Resources.”

    From there you can view the links to online resources alphabetically by title or by subject, browse downloadable videos and audiobooks at Library2Go or view a list of online magazine titles.

    Make sure to have your library card number handy, and then start exploring the wealth of information available to you!
