Library Friends

back to Support

The Friends of the North Plains Public Library (Friends) group is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that coordinates fundraising events and activities to benefit the library. The group patterns itself after the national organization joining hundreds of groups in support of libraries around the country and North America.

The Friends is governed by an eight member Board of Directors. The Friends meet regularly to plan events and fundraising activities. They hold regular meetings the first Monday of every month at 7:00 PM in the North Plains Library. Additionally, they hold a Used Book Sale on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 10 AM to noon at the Jessie Mays Community Center Annex. Book donations can be dropped off there anytime and deposited in the Donation Book Drop.
